The Ultimate Fruit Leftover Dessert -- A Recipe to Start The Season in Style

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite fruit recipes. The more I make this fruit dessert the more I enjoy it ! Why?...because it is an AMAZING, Effective and --not to mention Tasty way to use *Fruit Leftovers*. 



To make this dessert you can use any fruit of your choice; strawberries, peaches, apples, grapefruit, etc. It is absolutely versatile and it could be serve over vanilla cake, chocolate cake, ice cream, crepes, pancakes and even cereal! Sautéed fruit could also be used as a pie filling-- Is quick to cook, is fresh, healthy (is not canned fruit) and works wonders for your fruit pie.

Sautéed Fruit Dessert
Serves 2

1 Medium red apple, sliced
3 Pineapple Slices
1 Medium plum, sliced
1/2 Big green Apple, sliced
3 Tbsp unsalted butter
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 C. Soft brown sugar
 

Preparation:
In a medium fry pan, melt butter. Add sugar, fruit and lemon juice. Cook for 4-5 minutes--
stir while cooking--or until fruit is soft and golden brown. Serve over vanilla cake, chocolate cake, ice cream,crepes,pancakes or cereal. And it could also be used as pie filling.

  4. Aldi, que foto mas bonita...la fruta siempre apetece y me has dado una idea par ael desayuno de este fin de semana, pero no lo haré con "leftover" sino con piezas nuevas, aqui no sobra fruta, casi nunca.
