Double Berry + Chia Smoothie Recipe!

We
We have been going to the strawberry farm more than we expected during the summer season. We enjoy quite a lot visiting this cute little place. Not only they sell fresh strawberries, but they also make some delightful strawberry frozen yogurt over there.

And every time we go there...we spoiled ourselves with some strawberry frozen yogurt and we bring fresh strawberries with us.

The first thing we do with these beautiful red, juicy, sweet, mouth-watering berries is ‘Smoothies’! But we also use them in our oatmeal, fruit salads, and even in savory salads.

We try different smoothie combinations with strawberries and they all taste so amazing but lately our favorite has been strawberry and chia smoothie. And no matter how tired or sleepy we are in the morning, putting the ingredients together in the blender for this smoothie recipe became almost automatic thinking. Really! Just simple ingredients, easy to remember, and easy to put together. It has; strawberries, almond-coconut milk, banana, chia seeds, and it also has spinach in it. But if you never tried any green vegetables in your smoothie before don’t worry because it doesn’t taste like spinach at all. If you enjoy eating green leaves you can also use kale instead of the spinach, it tastes equally delicious.

Going back to my 'Smoothie- Mania', what I like about smoothies is that it takes minutes to make. But not only that! I can use all sorts of fruits and vegetables in it, even avocado.{It gives a great creamy texture to it!} I drink my smoothie mostly in the mornings, and it always gives me the boost of energy that I need and is also very fulfilling. Especially if you are a busy mummy! You need lots of energy and lots of superfoods that really nourish your body. SO GO on have fun, make yourself a smoothie, try combining different colourful vegetables and fruits, nourish your body, be happy!

HAPPY SMOOTHIE MAKING!
