Italiano Hot Dog -Chilean Style-Completo Chileno

This Hot Dog is a Unique Chilean Creation and is called Completomeaning “Complete” in spanish. As you can see in the picture, it is a very different version from the usual basic hot-dogs. It's a very popular fast-food in Chile and is becoming well known also in the U.S., especially in New York.

This one I've made is called Completo Italiano meaning --Italian Completo. Why? Chilean says; because their colors are similar to those of the Italian flag. The toppings are: mashed avocado; diced tomato and mayonnaise.

There are others variations of Chilean Hot Dogs but this is the one that I liked the most and the first one I tried in my first trip to Chile. Also one of the best I've ever had. Hubby J. and I love “Completos” especially on the weekends, when we are extremely hungry but also in a hurry-- m I usually serve the completo with mix salad but you can also try French fries with it. My- oh- My there’s nothing more Delicious!
